It's TIN the toy robot for my upcoming 10 minute short animation entitled 'Toy-Box'.
TIN is the main character in the animation and I wanted to base him off of the old Tin robots, I realise the texturing doesn't look all that tin, but I am going to use this style for my target audience, i'm not going for realsim ^__^.

I know it's simple but please keep in mind when criticing that I am aiming for a child audience with this project.

i did flaming read... and i read all about the audience and bla bla bla, but even looking at the audience it is aimed at... YOU CAN DO BETTER!

wrong, i don't NEED to do better, this is as close to the design as I NEED to get, it is not for some glorified art it is for animation, the poly count has to be kept low, the style has to be simplified, I can model much better...true, but this is the kind of work I have to do for animation, can you see the invisible movement boxes and 'dummy' systems built into him, I am showcasing this purely to show that I am active ;P.
